Generators for QR codes, UUIDs, passwords, hashes, and types
Generate QR codes, UUIDs, passwords, hashes, JSON schemas, and typed code structures directly in your browser.
10 focused tools
Generate reusable values and code artifacts without sending the source data to an API. The browser supplies cryptographic randomness where appropriate and creates downloadable or copyable results immediately.
The collection includes everyday generators such as UUIDs, passwords, hashes, and QR codes alongside developer-focused tools that turn JSON samples into schemas and strongly typed structures.
Choose a generator based on the role of its output. A random identifier labels an item; it does not keep that item secret. A password must be protected after generation and stored in an appropriate manager. A hash can help compare bytes with an expected digest, but it is not encryption. Review each tool's settings instead of treating all generated strings as interchangeable security controls.
A QR code contains data chosen by its maker. Test the saved image with a second reader before printing it, and inspect the decoded destination. A correctly drawn QR pattern can still lead to the wrong URL. Keep enough quiet border and contrast for the way the code will be displayed; shrinking it to meet a byte target can make a code harder to scan.
When producing TypeScript types or a JSON schema from a sample, remember that the sample may not show every optional field or every allowed value. Generated structure is a starting point for review against the real API contract. A syntactically valid type cannot prove the server will accept every instance or that a field carrying personal information is safe to share.
For a checksum, hash the representation the other party will verify. Hashing copied text from a PDF does not reproduce the checksum of the PDF file bytes. Compare the complete published digest from a trusted source and retain the source version. If a tool returns an error or an unexpected value, use a non-sensitive test fixture when reporting it.
Treat a generated value as an output to verify, not a certificate of correctness. Copy a UUID into the target field to confirm its accepted format; scan a QR image at its intended print size; and validate generated code with the project's compiler or schema tests. A successful download means the browser created the artifact, not that another system will accept it.
Popular generators
QR Code Generator
Make a QR code from a link or any text in your browser. No redirects, no expiry, no account, and nothing sent to a server.
GeneratorsUUID Generator
Generate one or a thousand version 4 UUIDs in your browser using a cryptographic random source. Copy them all at once, with nothing requested from a server.
GeneratorsPassword Generator
Generate strong passwords in your browser using crypto.getRandomValues, with entropy shown in bits. Nothing is transmitted, logged, or stored.
GeneratorsHash Generator
Produce SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512 digests from text in your browser using Web Crypto. Nothing is uploaded, so pasting sensitive text is safe.
GeneratorsJSON to TypeScript
Generate TypeScript interfaces from a JSON sample in your browser. Nested objects become their own interfaces.
GeneratorsJSON to JSON Schema
Generate a JSON Schema from a sample document in your browser, inferring types and required fields.
More generators
JSON to Go Struct
Generate Go structs from a JSON sample in your browser, complete with json struct tags.
GeneratorsJSON to Python Dataclass
Generate Python dataclasses from a JSON sample in your browser, with type hints.
GeneratorsJSON to Rust Struct
Generate Rust structs from a JSON sample in your browser, deriving Serialize and Deserialize.
GeneratorsQR Code Reader
Decode a QR code from a photo or screenshot and read its destination as text before following it. Runs in your browser.
